We are especially proud of our staff. They bring a wonderfully diverse range of experiences and training to our educational team. They are united in their genuine love for children and dedication to the growth and development of each student at Bridges. Let us introduce each of them to you...
My name is Tiffany Hamilton and I have been in Childcare since 1997. I have my state mandated 45 hours and First Aid/CPR Training. I love to care for others, so becoming a Preschool Teacher felt natural to me. I plan on furthering my education in Early Childhood.
My name is Nockma Royals. I have been in childcare for 16 years. I have my First Aid/CPR Training and my state mandated 45 hours. I have also taken many other trainings, as well. I enjoy working with children and watching them learn and grow everyday.
My name is Jessica Thompson and I have been in childcare for 16 years. I have my State Mandated 45 Hours, My FCCPC, My Director's Credential, First Aid/CPR Traning, Special Needs Training, and several other courses. I enjoy working with children because I love the feeling I get when I see a child finally understand something that I have been teaching them. In the furture I plan on furthering my education in Early Childhood Education.
My name is Maria Skovsgard and I have enjoyed a career in childcare for 24 years. During this time I have completed the state mandated 45 hours, my FCCPC, several First Aid/CPR trainings, and I continually take additional inservice training courses. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and enjoy helping our spanish speaking children and families become a part of the Bridges Family. By nature, I have a very loving and motherly personality. I enjoy working with all age groups, but I particularly enjoy working with Infants. They are loving, full of surprises and have lots of curiosity. I enjoy watching their faces light up when I sing to them and when they begin learning their first milestones.
My name is Katie Watson and I have been in childcare for 3 years. I love working with infants and one year old's. It's so fun watching and teaching them. I love watching them discover how their bodies work by rolling over, crawling, or taking their first steps. Teaching them songs and watching them mimic me lets me know they are learning and that is the biggest reward.
My name is Dawn Quinn. I started teaching preschool in 1987. During this time I have worked with many age groups. Currently, I am teaching VPK, which I find to be the most rewarding. I have my state mandated 45 hours, my FCCPC, my VPK Teaching Certificate, my Director's Credential, and First Aid/CPR Training as well as numerous other courses and trainings I have taken in Early Childhood Education and Development.
My name is Erika Knox. I have been teaching for 14 years. I have my state mandated 45 hours, my FCCPC, training in First Aid/CPR, VPK Teaching Certificate, my A.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education, my A.A. Degree in Education, and I am currently working on my B.S. Degree in Public Administration. I love working in the Early Childhood Education field. As a team, we lay down a firm foundation for each child's educational future. I love teaching VPK because I believe in what the state of Florida believes; that each child should have the opportunity for a good education...no matter what their families economic status might be.
